I am an animator.
I started my journey in animation very young:
When I was around 8 years old, my dad proposed we did a stopmotion animation with some toys we had at home, just for fun.
I had so much fun moving those little playmobils bit by bit that I just had to do more, to try again, to tell new stories.
I had found a new way to express myself while I was having still fun playing.
I experimented with animation before even realizing what I was doing. And meanwhile, my parents were patient enough to walk me through it and put the footage together. At the end, I had a VHS with little short films that were ever so simple but that I was profoundly proud of.
That's how I discovered my passion for animating.
Like any kid, I was a junkie for animated movies. Still am.
inspiration
I am constantly inspired by the nature.
Growing up in Rio de Janeiro (Brazil), I've always found my home as being the ocean.
I grew up in a big family with lots of dogs, life inspired me everywhere. I've also inherited my family's passion for music. That and drawing, I love to translate my life in sketches, as I've always had a passion for expressing myself visually.
I take my guitar whenever I travel, and I always have a sketchbook with me.

As for my professional life,
I have worked with such talented people in a couple of short films during university,(Chico e Bia, The Chase, Freeman, etc) both live action and 2D animation.
From setting up the light set, learning new software to sharing a pizza in our lunch breaks, I have learned so much from the people I've worked with in these.
My work has been featured in the Animamundi animation festival in Brazil, as well as other festivals.
As I see it, potential is always there cause there's no finish line.
We can never stop learning, we can never stop doing what we love.
And I love animating.
